Who: Ivan, Lori What: Comatose man interviews a new agent! Oh wait, it's backdated. When: Jan. 11th, Afternoon. (BACKDATED) Where: Royal Base, Ivan's office.
If Ivan were waiting outside, the engine noise would be pretty clear. Surprisingly, Lori resisted the urge to park in an extreme slide, instead pulling neatly into a handy parking spot... In a bike that would dwarf a typical SUV.
She herself wasn't dressed precisely in her normal, cowboy's outfit, either, instead wearing a basic businesswoman's suit. Based on her very carefully watching the skirt as she got off, she wasn't precisely used to it, either. habits being habits, though, she grabbed her bass out of the back, looping it over one shoulder onto her back.
Finally, she glanced around, clearly looking for Ivan.
Lori was neither the first person, nor would she be the last person, to drive through the Royal Base. A facility built for Digimon, with perfects walking around regularly, vehicles were almost mandatory to get anywhere fast.
They also made a great announcement of one's presence. He nodded to his partner, who went to the overly large doors and opened them. What greeted Lori was an Armadimon that stood taller than she did, and looked down at her expectantly. "Lori Hamilton?" he asked.
Lori blinked, looking at the Mon. Her Commandramon spoke first. "Yeah, that's her all right!"
"... Y-yes."
"Hey, don't worry about 'im, Lori! If we haven't just walked into a trap by a bunch of DATS impersonators who somehow replaced the building unnoticed last night, we're perfectly safe!"
"Step inside, Miss Hamilton," Armadimon said cheerfully, and he stepped out of her way.
Ivan's office was, to say the least, an absolute mess. Books were stacked carelessly all around, and the walls of the office were covered, from floor to ceiling, with maps and photographs. The maps were all heavily scrawled upon, and the photographs ranged from photos of Ivan's brothers and sisters, to those of fellow DATS Agents. It was worth noting that there were more photos of Yoshino Daimon than of any other agent.
Once Lori and Commandramon stepped in, Armadimon shut the door behind them. Ivan rose from his seat and smiled in greeting, stepping around his desk to extend a hand to her. "Good afternoon, Lori," he said. "I'm Ivan, we spoke... much earlier."
He laughed self-depreciatively at his own tardiness in arranging this meeting.
