Rin was...frightened.

She'd left Len without much of a word because she knew she was dying. But she couldn't tell him that. Her father told her to never see him again, but she couldn't tell him that.

She couldn't...

Yet she couldn't just avoid him. Now that they were both here. She shuffled down the hotel stairs to the lobby and spied him, nearly hiding completely.

She didn't want to get attached to him again...

Haku was worried. Jittery-nervous. Her memory wasn't completely intact. There was enough there to know that this particular 'life' had played before, but she could only recall vague snippets of taking them to the karaoke machine before they returned to normal.

She hoped she could pull it off again. After all, she'd been doing pretty good at lying so far.

So she took a deep breath and headed for Len's room, hoping that by the end of the day she'd have her brother and sister back.

Len didn't spot Rin. He was too nervous himself to be aware of his surroundings. He was just too nervous. Would he lose her again and return to that place again?

However, he did notice someone. "Ah! Miss Haku, over here!" Len called. He had moved down to the lobby because he didn't want Rin to get lost if she could get to the hotel all right.

Rin watched him - and heard him. Len's voice... She hadn't heard it for so long, it seemed. She wanted to run to him, but at the same time wanted to run the other way.

How could she do this? She knew she would die, so how could she get attached to him? She should just turn around and-

Kokuwamon nudged her Tamer forward so she made a little cry, one loud enough for Len and Haku to hear.
