At first Rock welcomed the enthusiasm. It was great to see Bass working at something for fun that didn't include anything blowing up. But then Rock couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, Bass was getting into it a bit much.
As he was ordered to get more snow, he gave Roll a look. This was just for fun, but with the way Bass was acting, he really hoped they won. Who knew how he would act if they didn't.
Roll looked at Rock when he gave her a look, giving a look back as she leaned on the shovel she had been using to help. And she was suppressing the urge to whack Bass upside the head with it.
"It's just for fun Bass, calm down!" She looked over at the other people making snowmen and really hoped they were a little bit more sane then Bass.
He looked at their creation so far, and... discreetly walked behind their still-taking shape pile of snow. He realized three large rocks, and attempted to - out of sight, cover them in the white powder and add them to their creation.
Rock had Gaomon hooked up to a little sled that he was using to move larger amounts of snow then he could carry. It was as he was loading up the sled that the dog digimon noticed Bass' actions.
"Mega Mega, rook." Rock glanced back, but missed what Gaomon was motioning at. "I don't see anything, boy."
"Push that snow up, use your legs, GET A MOVE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!"
From an area nearby, two of the various displaced Hinata Inn/Silver Dragon tenants, namely Sam and Max, were busy building their own snowman... or actually Max was telling Sam to keep building their large snowman statue of DaiPenmon.
"Well, I hafta admit, little buddy, this is a whole lot better than wandering the Goc Desert!" Sam said, slapping more snow onto their snowman.
"You got that right! And hey, we can take out our anger right here!" Max said, throwing a snowball at a set of makeshift Xellos busts. "You think we're gonna win this?"
"I hope so..." Sam said, noticing some of the other contestants. "We got some heavy resistance, though!"
Jenny, in no more than a skirt, giant combat boots, and a T-shirt, wandered over to have a look at Sam and Max's snow Dai Penmon. She circled it, examining their work, then turned to the pair, utterly beaming.
"That's looking amazing!"
Several meters away, Donna was blazing her way through trying to make a giant snowmon all on her own. The usually stoic Commandramon looked almost comical, wrapped up in several layers and Jenny's favorite hat as she played in the snow. As Jenny had noted on the comms, Donna didn't even like slushies that much... She just needed something to conquer.
"Well..." Jenny started, tilting her head. "I did want to enter, but..."
She glanced at Donna, who looked so determined that if one replaced all her warm clothing with weaponry, the Commandramon could have been at war.
"My partner's very competitive. She wanted to go it alone. Someone told me everything's more fun with more people, but Donna actually told me for once that I was in the way! So I guess I'm just looking for now."
She actually sounded rather pleased that Donna had told her off. It had taken months, but it seemed her partner was finally easing up on military protocol.

"Ahoy there! Thanks for the compliment!" Sam called out. "You here for the contest, too, or are you just looking around?"
