Who: Yu, Jinx, Sandy [open] What: Hana's a great listener...even now. When: July 31st all day Where: Tetha General, Hana's room. ( It will all work out in the end. )
It only took Batgirl a moment to peer into the room she sought out and make sure it was safe to enter. As usual the window wasn't locked and she slipped inside as silent as ever.
The souls of her boots were padded to soften the sound as they touched the cold tile floor.
The room was dark, as it had been each day she had been here so early in the morning. There would be a nurse by to check on Hana in two hours, Sandy would arrive in three with Men and possibly Petey if she could smuggle him in too.
The lack of light was hardly noticeable tanks to the specialized lenses on Batgirls mask. Designed to make the most of every bit of light she could see the room as clear as day...
...and that included the limp pale form of her friend Hana laying in the bed.
She de-realized her costume and stole a glance out the window. Charlie was waiting for her on the roof as he always did. Leaning over the edge and watching the window, pretending to be more interested in watching the street below

A few soft barefot steps brought her to Hana's side. He looked peaceful...smaller then usual. Yu had grown accustomed to his smile even if she didn't care about him as deeply as Tiffany and Sandy had.
In a sense she saw Hana as her rival. His physical skills were the closest to hers among her age group and if she ever needed a sparring partner he'd put up a challenge for her.
It was more then that though, Hana had helped her take the first step to reclaiming her family. Talking to Tiffany even if had been forced had helped her admit to herself there was hope.
Reaching out she pinched his cheek gently and whispered, "You better wake up soon you brat...or I'm gonna kick your ass."
Her empty threat seemed to wither in the air and she let go of his cheek.
"I haven't found much to go on in who did this to you...that area of the forest is notorious for troublemakers...but I beat up some jerk digimon who might have a lead for me. I'll go back tomorrow when they wake up and ask them again...I kind of knocked them out." She mumbled sheepishly.
Hana was...as expected silent at this news.
"I'm gonna find him." Yu promised "Or her...them. I'll find who did this and I'll make him pay. Justice will be served." She vowed, "Just...just come back to use kay?" She sniffled but bit her lip refusing to cry in front of him like the other girls.
It was a little later in the morning when Jinx arrived to visit Hana.
The sun had risen and people were well into the workday, but thankfully business was slow this morning so Fanbeemon had offered to watch the shop for Jinx while she was out.
Nothing much had changed in the room since she'd left yesterday. Still smelled too clean, everything was too shiny. While it gave Jinx confidence Hana was getting the best care possible it didn't feel comfortable.
She took a moment to read the chart attached to the foot of his bed. Alot of it was medical mumbo jumbo and short hand for the nurses, but she could understand the overall message.
He was stable...and that was about as good as they had right now.
Dragging a chair from the window she set down next to his bed and watched him sleep. Labramon acknowledged her by lifting his head and looking at her before putting it back down. Jinx wasn't sure if dogs could cry let alone Digimon dogs...but she assumed if he had tears to shed they would already be shed.
"So your Aunt called me last night." Jinx began as she always did, talking to him. "Seems she's finally found the time to apologize to me for this." Jinx lifted up her injured arm, the work shirt she was wearing hid the bandages on her shoulder, "But hey look, I can move it again and it doesn't hurt as much...I mean sure I'm taking enough pain pills to drop a rhino but it's working." She tried to sound as cheerful as possible
( ... )
With a heavy sigh Jinx let her head droop a little, "I dunno Hana...I'm worried about you frankly. When you wake up if we're all a mess what's gonna happen huh? You'll blame yourself or something stupid and it'll take the full force of all who love you to keep your happy ball rolling

Sandy held Men securely as she entered Hana's room. The little one was tuckered out from a full day of pulling on Sandy's hair, calling Sandy a Baka and generally getting into things. Without Hana he was left to find other entertainment.
Yu had finally called, left a single note saying she'd found Petey and would be holding onto him until she went on patrol. Then she'd drop him off at the Onsen.
It irked the hell out of Sandy that Yu wasn't responding to her at all. Almost like she blamed Sandy for the whole thing.
Sitting down next to Hana Sandy looked at him and felt a familiar stab in her chest.
"I can't believe you let Petey escape." Tiffany chided sitting in a chair opposite Sandy.
"Shut up." Sandy snipped back her eyes not leaving Hana, "You're not even real."
"Maybe...I may be a figment of your imagination but even I know when you're being stupid. You know Yu doesn't blame you for any of this."
"Am I allowed to blame someone?" Sandy asked gently, ignoring how absurd it was she was talking to a figment of her own imagination let alone that it looked like her friend.
"Depends on who you want to blame." Tiffany responded coolly sipping tea from a fine little cup.
"Myself for starters." Sandy sighed and adjusted Men in her lap, "The last thing I did before he died was yell at him...he probably thinks I hate him."
"Knowing him maybe." Tiffany responded without a trace of emotion.
"Gee thanks, you're a big comfort." Sandy grumbled affixing a glare on the person who couldn't possibly be there.

That's what Hana was to her...hope.

"If he wakes up." sandy mumbled darkly.
"He will." Tiffany smiled gently, "He has to come back for us, just like I have to come back for you and him."
