"Over here, Greg-niichan, hurry!" Miku giggled, trying to be careful and mindful of Greg and his injury ... though, it wasn't easy, considering she was an android who wasn't quite knowledgeable in the ways of humans and their recovery.

"It's just a little farther!"

She was excited. They'd done so much planning all in so little time. This was sure to be wonderful for Greg, Miku was sure of it~!

Greg smirked a bit, an impressed chuckle escaping. It kept slipping his mind just how amazing they really were, but the world kept supplying him with constant reminders.

"That she is. And I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that she was built. She's got a personality that's all her own."

Gelda laughed. "Well, of course she does! Personality can't be built - has to be made. I don't pretend to understand what some of the other Tamers are here, but these Vocaloid people? They're as real as you and me. Though, you probably know that well, hm?"

"Oh, I know. They are. I'm really glad I met them, even if it wasn't under the greatest of circumstances..."

Thoughtfully, he fiddled with the edge of his shirt sleeve, remembering that night when he first ran in to Miku and Haku. It really wasn't that long ago, but they'd accepted him so easily and were calling him family within days. It was still taking some getting used to, but it gave him a warm feeling to know that they could care so openly and so much.

"They're very sweet girls. And Len is, too, but don't tell him I said that," he added with a wink and a chuckle.

She was happy for Greg. It seemed most didn't arrive here with friends to turn to - so finding ones who took such a shine to him was really a blessing.

"Well, friends are friends are friends, huh?" She let a wicked grin loose on her face. "Len's the cute little boy, huh?"

"Of course!" he nodded, hiding a snicker behind his hand. "He is, but oh he would find a way to murder you if he ever heard you say it. I made that mistake and the only reason he gave up chasing me was because I locked myself in the lab, and he's not allowed in there."

"Oh, I don't know - I'm pretty good at running. Kid doesn't look like he could catch the great Gelda Anthea Malkuth!"

Out of habit, she paused and glanced around - and was safe. No one from Auldrant besides herself and Syl!

"Pft," Greg scoffed a bit, shaking his head slowly with the same amused smirk.

"Don't sell him so short. He's fast for being something like 80% mechanical. Almost caught me and I'm pretty good at running myself! Not as good as Nick, but eh not everyone can be a high school football star from Texas turned CSI."

Gelda's enthusiastic smile froze and she laughed nervously. "Well. That changes things. I'm stubborn, not stupid!"

Then she sighed and sat down, leaning back in her chair slightly. "Man, you really seem to have gotten out there, though. Lots of people for just a month."

"Some of them I honestly don't know, like your friend. I think a couple just got dragged along. Not that I mind. The more the merrier, I say!"

"I just brought Syl along so she could see more of the world, but yeah - means you meet more people! You can never have enough friends, I always say!" She glanced at her partner, who was still shuffling near the wall. "If only Mono could see that."

"I loved Vegas, but oh man I didn't get our nearly enough, so I know how it is, needing to meet more people."

Greg also glanced at her partner, and it seemed Gomamon had been listening in as well, because he waved to Mono with a flipper from where he'd been hanging out at Greg's feet.

"Vegas? That the world you live in?"

Mono gave a swift gasp, but then gave a quick bow. "It is a pleasure to be invited to this social event and I wish you many long years of happiness!"

Yeah, Mono seemed to be like Sylvia in many ways...

"Las Vegas is the city. The world's just called Earth. Then there's continents, countries, states or providences, and cities, villiages, towns..." Greg explained, trailing off only when Mono said what she did.

Gomamon stared as well, canting his head and blinking a bit, pointing up to Greg.

"It's his birthday," he said, obviously confused as to why she was even acting like that.

"She's just being polite, little guy," Greg said with a smile turned towards Mono, "Thank you. I appricate it."

"Oh." Gelda thought that made sense. After all, Auldrant was like that too. She cast her partner a cheerful grin. "Mono, what did we talk about?"

Mono bowed lower, shutting her eyes as she did so. "I-I'm sorry for not being more with the spirit of the event!"

Gelda sighed. "Not that. I need to call up that other Monodramon. You seem more outgoing when you're with him." She gave Greg a tiny smile. "She's really a lot of fun when she actually loosens up."

Greg laughed softly at that.

"It's okay. You can't force people, or digimon, to be who they're not."
