It was just another day at work for Axl, and his shift was just about over. So being a delivery boy wasn't exactly a glamourous job for a Maverick Hunter, but it paid decently (and let him indulge in the occasional supplies for pranks).

Humming cheerfully, Axl made his way down the sidewalk back to where he had parked his scooter. All he had to do now was go back to the shop and pick up Patamon.

And that was when EBEmon took the opportunity to strike.

[BRAIN RUPTURE]

An invisible energy spoke flew out on cables, towards the back of Axl's head... intent on delivering a massively painful neural shock upon contact.

Axl had stopped walking, instincts honed by many years of being Hunter telling him something was wrong. But before he could figure anything out, it struck him. With an agonized scream, Axl fell to his knees on the sidewalk clutching at his head.

EBEmon's tentacles slithered out, wrapping around Axl's legs and dragging him towards him.

[SPACE TIME JUMPER - ACTIVATE]

Provided Axl would not suddenly break free, the two of them would vanish from Tetha... and reappear in an elaborate, highly advanced laboratory.
