"Where the hell are you going?"

The voice came from a pair that emerged from the forest, a cross expression on the Tamer's face.

"I thought you'd run here," said Manami. "The lightpost was too... visible, right?"

Sayu came to a sudden stop.

Even though she was quite physically fit, running so far, so hard, she had a sharp pain in her chest, which she clutched.

"Sayu-dono!" Palmon shouted as he came up behind his partner.

Sayu panted, trying to catch her breath, as she ... STARED at Manami. She... didn't even think she would be out of the BED with her injuries by this point, much less...

"M- Manami..."

"I called in my plot device," was all Manami said in response to what she figured Sayu was thinking.

She walked forward... a very certain expression on her face.

"Sayu. I'm not letting you run away."

She snorted. "Oh, now you wanna do something, eh...?"
