A soft, gentle touch on her lips. A feeling she wasn't used too. Even pretending to be sweet, there was no one she could trust, let alone get so close for such a tender contact.

Her eyes slowly opened, looking up at the face above her, staring in a sort of daze.

It...hadn't been a dream? "Keiichi-san?" She whispered.

His breath caught in his chest, he could have imagined the sound, but he had been so close he'd felt her lips move!

He opened his eyes and they met hers. He was unable to look away, lost in those deep pools that he had longed to gaze into for so long.

"B..belldandy..." He whispered back and then found it in himself to smile just a tiny...relieved smile.

Belldandy stared at him with wide eyes, silent. When she first saw him, he had been in a possible place of danger. James was a fool, but if he realized the connection, he might have thought to 'appease LOT' annd hurt Keiichi. Not to mention the other villains in Mordred. She had to hurry then and make sure he'd be safe.

The fact he had arrived, that he was ALIVE and WELL and HERE where she could BE WITH HIM again hadn't quite made the full impact when she had been scared for his safety.

Her heart ached as she stared at him, her eyes starting to narrow as tears started to fill her eyes. "Keiichi-san..." She whispred and moved up, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "Keiichi-san! Keiichi-san!" She cried, wanting to say his name, wanting to hold him tightly to assure herself that he really was HERE, ALIVE, and WELL!

And for the first time since she and the Lord of Terror fused together, honest tears fell for her eyes as she buried her face against Keiichi's shoulders, her own form trembling as she sobbed. "Keiichi-san!"

Keiichi in a moment of masculinity slid his arms around her gently and once they were in place held her as firmly as she held him. He couldn't help but feel his eyes water at her pain, her tears for how much she had missed him.

No words were needed, but he still felt so strange. This was all he'd wanted for almost a full year since he'd met her, but until the very last day she'd always been so distant to him.

No, none of that mattered, Belldandy needed him right now. "I'm here Bell." He whispered softly after she had began crying his name. "I'm sorry it took me so long." He added.
