"OIII!" Candmon cried after his partner, huffing a bit.
He so wasn't used to legs on a normal basis. Nearly a week of them, and he was starting to feel tuckered out.
Candmon, currently, was caught amidst a crowd trying to follow his partner.
"C'mon, outta my way...!" he muttered, shoving an irate looking Falcomon out of the way, who immediately bared his teeth and growled. Candmon laughed nervously, backpedaling. "Um- um, sorry man!"
He hung his head and bowed. "Dammit t'hell. I SO could've just been in Flower Paradise, but noooooooooo..."
Xellos slipped into an alley, leaning up against a wall. He slammed his staff into the ground in a bit of frustration, scowling at nothing in particular.
He still didn't know why he was here. All of these people, all of these Digimon, and still nothing.
He just needed to head back, let this week be over with...
He looked briefly to Candmon. "Perceptive. For once. I'm almost impressed!"
He turned back to Ravemon, looked around the room, and then smiled.
"Ah, it would appear you and Mr. Kagura have a bit in common there, Mr. Ravemon! So what was it you said about in-fighting? I doubt Lucemon would approve!"
He then turned towards Hououmon's statue, and... drew his sword, blasting it with a burst of purple thunder. The last vestiges of the statue clattered to the ground, and there was a crater where it once stood.
"There is a time and place for it," he said. "And I could care less what Lucemon approves of. He knows my intentions, and I know his... but in the end, it will be far too late."

Emerging from it, looking... quite confident, actually, and hardly the image that Xellos had last left him, was Kagura Tsukasa, Vulpimon at his side.
"Xellos-san," he said, simply, smiling lightly.

This? Was not wholly expected.
...but rather interesting.
"...oh, really? Is that so? Usually, it's the other way around."

He began to pace away from Xellos, sheathing his sword and starting to study one of his maps.
"And I know what you must be thinking. 'How would he know that?' I'm sure your mind is already making the appropriate connections, however."

This only took Xellos a few moments.

...
Candmon jumped back. Several feet.
"WHAT?!"
Xellos rubbed his head. Not perceptive enough.
