Renamon was the only person in the apartment with Yuma today. Katherine's work with various groups was something that kept her away fairly often, so Renamon was tasked with watching over her.
Peeking in to Yuma's room, he frowned. The young woman was sitting on her bed, thinking. Again.
To be honest, Renamon was bewildered by the whole situation. Despite Katherine's encouragement, he didn't really know his own partner or the people he was living with. That made forming a connection hard... and as a partner, that was something he was drawn to.
There were also those inklings of a former life... the hints that he and Yuma had a connection before coming to this world. It was a past he wanted some sense of...
That wasn't selfish, was it? he had asked himself. Of course it wasn't. Yuma would be happier if he was back to his old self, wouldn't she?
Sighing, he moved to enter the room. He couldn't just sit by and watch anymore....
Renamon chewed on his lower lip, and walked forward. "Yuma, I... I was thinking... it's a pretty good day outside. Why don't we go to the park, hm? I've never been there, and... it seems like something I'd like to share with my partner."

"R-Renamon...?" she said. "What is it...?"

"Do... you really think that'd be a good idea? I mean..."
She struggled for an explanation, trying to think of a reason to argue not to go.
