Peter almost tried to come up with another argument, almost tried to push her way, but then hen he looked into her eyes, and realized that it would be pointless.

"...even if I get away and hide again, you're not going to stop looking for me, are you?"

She smiled and leaned in before he could keep talking, no more talking, no more being mad at him or him being mad at himself...she had been saving this since she'd watched him fight Billy for her even though he hadn't made it to her in time.

He'd earned it.

On soft kiss on the lips.

The kiss surprises Peter for all of a millisecond, and then he begins to kiss back.

"Heh. Guess that answers that question." He says, once the kiss is broken.

"But look, if we're gonna do this, we have to be smart about it. You've got learn how to fight-"

"Guessing by her outfit I think she's already one step ahead of you on that webhead." Wormmon interrupts.

Peter finally notices the Pai Zhuq uniform. "...let me guess, RJ?"

MJ grinned and held up her hand summoning up a red hot Digisoul glow that lit up the deck around them for a moment before she let it flicker out. OK so maybe she was showing off a bit and wasn't that far along but for a moment she looked much more powerful then even Mikemon had expected.

Her mind was still swimming from the kiss...but she forced herself to remain on her own two feet for the moment.

Peter let out an appreciative whistle. "Remind me to thank him when we get back."

"We're really going back?" Wormmon asked.

"I'm pretty sure that's what I said, yeah."

"Finally! No more boat! Woo!"
