However, sitting high up in a tree of that very courtyard, legs hanging off the branch she sat on, was Nanami. She barely looked as if she was registering them, at first, for she was, in fact, applying lipstick. Wormmon was seated next to her, and she looked straight down at them as soon as they arrived.

"Nanami..."

The young woman looked up, and gave a mild sound of annoyance. "Oh, there you are. I thought I was going to be here all day."

Kouki froze, and looked up. He gaped for a moment... before his expression grew serious.

Commandramon? Wasted no time in aiming his gun.

"Nanami," Kouki said, "what're you doin' here?"

"Oh please," Nanami said, rolling her eyes. "You're far smarter than Kouki, surely you can figure that out."

She wagged a finger. "Though, pointing a gun at a fellow comrade is sort of a no-no, in case you forgot..."

Commandramon narrowed his eyes. "Are we still comrades?" he asked. "There's Waspmon everywhere, and I could swear I saw some of those flying machines that Nanoha woman used floating around too..."

Kouki's frown only grew deeper.

"... You're here to stop us. Don't do this, Nanami."

Gigadramon came to a sudden stop - an act that sent Kouki flying off of his shoulder. Gigadramon quickly snatched the human out of the air with his claws, and hung there in the air, rather... trapped by the blasts being fired down around him.

"Crap," was all the dragon could manage to growl.

Kouki, once he got his wits back, looked up and grit his teeth.

"You know I can't do that...!" he exclaimed. "I'm not just going to give up and go to some jail cell when I should be doing crap!"

As the Waspmon moved into position, surrounding him, Nanoha and Qilinmon began to swoop down. Though, Nanoha kept her Device trained on him.

"You're assuming an awful lot when we haven't even done anything!" she exclaimed. "All we wanted was for you to explain things, so we could figure out what to do! Then you just go off and do all this...!"

Kouki looked up at her, sneering. But... he waited before saying anything. At least half a minute.

"... I didn't want to just lose my chance to make up for this! I was Kurata's crony, once! I didn't think anybody'd give me another chance!"

Qilinmon swept around behind Gigadramon as Nanoha floated down in front of him. "Do we look like Kurata to you?" the unicorn questioned.

Nanoha sighed a bit. "Like I said, all we wanted was an explanation. To do this - all of this, is absolutely unacceptable when we hadn't even DONE anything. All you did was assume."

Her hand tightened on Raising Heart a bit. "So long as you're not hiding anything ELSE... Kouki, just stop this."
