Foreman's eyebrows arched up as House finally came to. It had taken him a day or so to actually REACH one of these "light posts," and had thus not been there for very long.

Very slowly, he had started to accept this wasn't some freak hallucination. Beyond the extraordinary, things seemed to go about... in a rather normal manner. It was still hard to accept, but after several days of seeing all of it... it was almost beginning to be hard NOT to.

"That actually might be me," Foreman stated, getting up and walking over to his bedside. "Unless you've been shot in the exact same place again. And while I wouldn't rule out someone wanting to, the odds of that are..."

"..."

Foreman BLINKED. Hard.

"This world's... god?"

It was, actually, all he could get out of his mouth. As if he hadn't been thrown for a loop by everything ELSE thus far as it was...

"Exactly!" Gabumon interjected. "Yggdrasil is the god of the Digital World, the creator of this world and all Digimon!"

Foreman looked down at Gabumon. Blinked again. And then turned his gaze to House. A look that, rather plainly asked the question, 'What the fuck?'

Both House and Steve looked at Foreman giving him the exact same look before looking back at Touma.

"...Right. Because without a doubt we trust you...what? A 15 year old kid? Who are you anyways? And why the hell should I be buying any of your bullshit?"

"I'm Touma H. Norstein," said Touma. "I'm a long-time member of DATS, a licensed medical practitioner, and I've been here for nearly a year now. For the record? Yggdrasil is as much a computer as he is a so-called 'god.' But if you don't believe me... there's an entire world out there that will corroborate everything I told you."

He paused for a moment. "In addition, I'm actually sixteen years old."

"Age doesn't matter, Nerdstein, you're still jailbait, and jailbait aren't doctors...unless it's in the roleplay sense. Now, as pretty as you may be, I'm sorry, you're not my type, so could you kindly go away and let the real doctors do the talking? Please?" he said with a bit of a mocking pout.

Steve merely laughed.

Foreman was halfway through the train of thought regarding how on earth a 16 year old could POSSIBLY get a medical license, when...

Well.

At least he could be certain House hadn't changed much in the last two years, after that.

"House," Foreman finally said, choosing to... well, not really approach the question of Touma's qualifications - he'd do that himself on his own time - and turned back to House. "For whatever it's worth, whatever he may or may not be, you'd have bled out on the street if not for him and Dr. Kutner."

Was he expecting this to change House's mind? No. Not in the least, really. But he figured he may as well lay out the facts.

Touma? Just chuckled.

"With all due respect, Doctor Foreman," he said. "Kutner warned me a bit about Dr. House. But I prefer to let my actions speak for themselves. If you want someone else to inform you about the digital world, though, that's fine, and of no real detriment to me."

He smirked and headed towards the door. "If you both need anything, DATS will be glad to provide."
