Nami had been wandering through the forest for almost a week now. While the lack of children was a definite bonus, the fact was, she was wandering through the woods in her pajamas. She was beginning to wish she'd taken the kids up on their offers of help, but she still didn't want to swallow her pride and ask them again.
Besides, Plotmon was interesting company. It had been a while since she'd had to use the sign language she'd had a crash course on in teacher's college, and it was definitely getting a lot of use with her apparently completely deaf partner. (How the heck she was understanding Plotmon's Morse code taps on the ground, she didn't know.)
Despite hearing about that poor little girl kidnapped from the forest, she hadn't run into anything particularly dangerous herself, and wasn't expecting to today...
