Etemonkey moved off the stage, allowing the talent performers to come on. Once each Tamer was finished, another would be allowed to come on after them.

Haruhi walked out onto the stage, guitar in hand, striding up to the microphone. For just the slightest moment, there actually seemed to be a slight twinge of nervousness before she spoke. But it was brief.
"Hello, everybody!" she greeted, her voice sweeter and an awful lot nicer than some people may have been used to on a regular basis. "My name's Suzumiya Haruhi, and today I'll be preforming a song that I've... actually been working on for awhile. Unfortunately, it was written for a band, so I actually wasn't going to be able to do it until I... convinced some friends of mine
( ... )
In the crowd, a number of digimon and Tamers awaited anxiously for the next performance to begin... and a number were also scared, based on the fear that the Betsumon incident might repeat itself.

"I can't believe he's doing this," Jess muttered to herself, or maybe to the PicoDevimon perched on the seat next to her, as Videoman went on the stage. "Mi'lady it cannot be that ba--"
Of course what PicoDevimon was saying was stopped merely by... What was happening on the stage. And the fact that Jess is slowly trying to sink into her seat now and pretend she doesn't know who Videoman is.
Alas, having died before the launch of Youtube, Osamu had no idea what rickrolling was, but he thoroughly approved of Hotaru's performance. After walking in on her practice the night before, he'd known she was good, but he hadn't thought she'd be a composer too.
He had to laugh at Koushirou and Ryo's performance, though. Of course Ryo would have figured out a way to get RENT into his forced performance. And, hey, they weren't bad. Most of his attention was, of course, on Ryo, who didn't have the world's best voice but was entertaining enough that people weren't yelling at him to get off the stage.
Molly hit him. "Be quiet, they're good!"
Scribbling Kou's name onto the signup sheet on a whim had been so worth it.
Sitting with Flamon in one of the lower rows, Sharpay came to a similar conclusion: Scribbling Ryo's name onto the signup sheet had been so worth it.
Etemonkey came back onto stage once judging was completed.
"Okay, y'all. We've finally made a decision, so here's the winners! Now don't anyone feel sore, because we had a lot of great performances..."
Ahem. "First prize, receiving the Digimental of Kindness and 20000 BITs... is Suzumiya Haruhi and her band!
"Next, for second place, receiving a prize of 15000 BITs and a Fastest Bliga for each performer... are Kira Ford, Matt Olsen, Caleb, and Rock Howard!
"And lastly... the prize for third place goes to Satsuma Rentarou, who receives a Knight Device and 10000 BITs!"
Etemonkey clapped. "Here's to some great performers! Everyone else gets 500 BITs and a gift-certificate to Ocean Love restaurant! Come up and get your prizes, everyone!"

"Ahem," said Videoman, grinning as he came up to the Mike. "This... is a song that comes from the heart..."
And with a wave to a certain person out in the audience, he and his makeshift band began to perform...
Once the song was finished, Videoman cackled. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU EVERYBODY!"
((Basically, imagine the video with... Videoman singing in the place of Rick Astley.))

Bulkhead, however, looked like he was having the time of his life.

"... Did we just get rickrolled?"
Just how Chuumon knew what "rickrolling" even was was unclear.
Reply
"Yes, yes we did."
Jess isn't surprised that Chuumon knows what it is, since there are odder things about the digimon then that.
