Who: Siarnaq, Aeolus and their digimon partners(maybe?) [CLOSED]
What: Nitemares
When: After Siarnaq's fight with Phantom here.
Where: One of the more remote Tetha ruins.

( Siarnaq carefully slipped back into the ruins that he and Aeolus had been hiding in, )

No answer came. Instead, the sight of Aeolus sprawled out on his back near the entrance greeted Siarnaq.

The human had a dazed, empty look in his eyes, and a vapid expression on his face. Falcomon lay some distance away, with the same look in his eyes.

The lack of an answer bothered Siarnaq, though he didn't show it much. That was until he noticed Aeolus and took a closer look at the human.

"... AEOLUS. THIS IS NOT AMUSING," he said, a tiny hint of annoyance in his tone as he crouched by Aeolus' body.

Aeolus's body continued to lie still, and he didn't respond.

A shadow loomed up behind Siarnaq, eyes glowing.

"Nightmare... SYNDROMER!"

Siarnaq's attention was completely on Aeolus, so he was unaware of the shadow until it was too late. The attack striking and knocking the reploid out, and since he is unconscious well... He ends up on top of Aeolus since falling forward was what happened.

Siarnaq growled angrily, as he tightened his grip on Aeolus.

"you were there for the whole event," the words were filled with anger, not a single hint of his robotic monotone. "... I owe no one anything, Aeolus. YOU KNOW WHAT SUCH THINGS CAN LEAD TO..."

"No...!" Aeolus gasped. "I was there only for part... I was sent to find you! I didn't... I tried to..."

He looked legitimately surprised. "Siarnaq! I know I can be mechanical... calculating...! But I'd never! I swear! I'm nothing like... like her... At least not as far as you're concerned..."

"ATTACHMENT LEADS TO BETRAYAL... you saw that much, Aeolus." Siarnaq snapped back.

He just stares at Aeolus now, a part of him wanting to believe what Aeolus is saying but... "... PROOF."

"I've never betrayed you!" cried Aeolus. "I've even tried to move away from acting like that! I've tried to bring us all together! I'm not like her, or Al- ... or... or..."

He clung to Siarnaq. "I need you Siarnaq. Please... I had a nightmare too! You were what drew me out of it! Siarnaq, I-!"

He silenced himself, grabbing the sides of Siarnaq's face and kissing him suddenly.
