Chloe rolled her eyes. “What, you jealous, princess?”

“What?” She almost swerved into the next lane. Jealous? “You have got to be kidding me.”

“Oh, come on, I was just joking.” Dean seemed to clue into something then, getting that irritating, knowing smirk on his face. “What’s got you so hot and bothered?”

“Nothing.” Avoid. Retract. Deny, deny, deny…

That made me laugh. I could imagine this scene in my head.
