My immediate reaction to the premiere:

What the fuck was that?

Off to watch the finale of Burn Notice. Oh, Michael and Sam...what will I do without you?

fandom: supernatural, fandom: burn notice

I think Burn Notice takes the prize for awesomeness tonight. Sorry Winchesters. xD

Did you watch Smallville by chance?

No. Smallville and I divorced a couple of years ago.

I would have too, but I like Chloe too much. Although, last season I just watched the scenes with Chloe in them, so I couldn't tell you what else is going on.

So...how was Supernatural? I missed both shows, I was otherwise occupied.

Supernatural was okay. I'm not sure I'm in an all too fired frenzy yet for the season. Some things really made me just go 'WTF you've got to be kidding me, Kripke.'

But that could be a testament to the fact that I'm studying for a Spanish test at the moment.

I am not as flaily as I thought I would be. I liked the episode, for sure. There was a lot of awesome stuff in there, which I'll properly appreciate when I watch it again.

But right now I'm just a little pissed at the whole Women=slapped around, eyes burned and most importantly DEMON; Man=Angel, yes, maybe a little badassed, but still, an angel. Sigh. I don't know why it's bothering me because I know the show is like that. I just wished that it would've changed a tiny bit in that aspect? It's probably Kripke thumbing his teeth at fandom's reoccurring misogyny wank. Whatever.

I agree. Those are some of the points that stuck out in my mind after watching and I couldn't help but wonder if some of the things (such as Dean slapping the demon) were necessary.

The point with the slapping could've been made just as effectively with the demon in a male body and Dean punching or slapping it. But they didn't go that route and that's still kind of pissing me off.

Not cool, Kripke.

*sigh*

I really, really liked the theology stuff. Bout time, Kripke! I'm not that religious, so I know people who aren't are going to be like wtf? and people who are probably will as well. But I think I saw this coming.

As for the demons...meh to them. And meh to the new Ruby too
