Great article, thanks for sharing it. I can fix simple things but if I wanted major stuff done I'd rather have someone else do it. And after reading Lucy Siegel's book I was wondering where in Sydney you could get that stuff done - now I know!

I have a pair of boots that needs fixing, I have been told there is a good bootmaker in Macquarie Centre (handy for work). but I miss being in the city when it comes to this kind of thing. It is even further for you I guess, but at least it is a starting point. And that is what weekends and school holidays are for right? ;-)

It is far but I guess it's not something I would do very often. I know Rhiannon has had boots fixed so she may have a recommendation too.
