"Ok." Hikaru replied, looking thoughtful. She took out a sheer strip of fabric. She'd originally intended to ask Jun if it would look right on their costumes, but now she had a different idea.

"Ne, Kiti-chan...do you think there's a way to use something like this with those?"

Kiti looked thoughtful for a moment, "Do you mean like scarf tricks, or are you thinking of using it to bounce the balls?" Kiti felt the fabric between her index finger and thumb.

"It's very pretty, I think it's smooth enough to do it either way, anything coarser would snag, but you wouldn't want to practice with that though, it might rip, and it would definitely stain."

"Oh, this is just a sample for Jun to look at. I'm working on making our costumes for our next show....and I wanted to see if he likes this material. I was thinking of using it for something like bouncing the balls I guess." Hikaru replied, looking thoughtful.

Kiti remembered a performance she had seen once in a cirque show once, and from the look on her face she assumed Hikaru had probably seen something similar.

"It's definitely do-able," she said slowly, chewing on the white tip of her ponytail in concentration, "but it would take a lot of practice, especially if you want to do it as a team routine." She took her hair out of her mouth decisively.

"That is what you're thinking right? First you have to control the ball with just your hands, and then we can practice with scarves. But it shouldn't be to difficult to work up a routine for the both of you, since you're used to working as a team."
