I went into this writing knowing that one character will have to kill another, or maybe try to kill two others, and instead wound up dithering my way through a verbal confrontation (okay, so one punch was thrown) in which the FMC slogged through the same reveal to wind up with all the characters in agreement. Well characters do tend to have a mind of their own and I know my story didn't quite go as expected either; it had a completely different mood than I'd anticipated it would...

Anyway, I wanted to wish you a belated congratulations on reaching 50k. I'm really amazed at how many people got to 50k so early this year. What an odd November it's been... Ah well. Congrats and good luck finishing it up!
