Shige silently waited for the police guards to check his pockets and briefcase before they finally allowed him to walk to the designated area of visiting. A burly man outside the door nugged his head at the head. Shige nodded his head in thanks as he grabbed the cold, steel hangle.
Upon opening the door, Shige saw Tsumabaki snap his head up with surprise. Shige grinned.
"Surprised?" he asked as he sat across from the bar owner.
At the sound of door being opened, Satoshi lifted his head and couldn't help to lift his eyebrows at his visitor. From his suit and pricey haircut, everyone could guess that he's a lawyer, a successful one at that. He crossed his arms. Hadn't he said that he didn't need one? What was a lawyer doing in here? From Sho's? Or from the military?
He straightened up as the seemingly younger man sat in front of him. "Honestly I was expecting my bail out this evening. Obviously not another visitor especially in investigation room." Ah, he's craving a cigarette now. Lady Luck wasn't always at his side whenever he came across a lawyer. Especially from a supposed-vampire-lawyer. He narrowed as he caught a familiar vibe from the young man. Just like the kid's.
Shige immediately sensed tension in the atmosphere as he sat himself down across from Tsumabaki. He smiled as the door closed leaving them alone physical but Shige could sense the concealed mics and cameras all around the room.
He cleared his throat softly as he leaned back in his steel chair. "My name is Kato Shigeaki. You probably can tell that I'm a lawyer," he concluded as he silently observed the man's reactions to everything he said. Shige knew that Tsumabaki didn't like the idea of Shige being there.
"My colleague Sakurai Sho told me about your situation," he continued. "And yes, I know your bail has been paid." Shige smiled. "I just want to hear about this from your prospective."
He cocked his head to the side, mindful the shackles around his wrists kept him from folding his arms. He has been dealing with law for a quarter of his life, but mainly over his cigarettes. This worst scenario wasn't his cup of tea.
He leaned further into the chair, mindful of his legs touching the other. "Everything you heard on the news is true enough."
