Day in the Life of a Pharmacology Graduate Student
No warnings, just a regular day in lab.
I only drink coffee on the weekends, but it's part of my morning routine to make a pot for Jake.
Later, it got to 67 degrees. 67! In March! In Michigan!
She likes to follow us everywhere. Even if that means into the bathroom.
I think these photos are going to be really artistic and funky... Then I look at them and say to myself "Nope, just another weird photo of a staircase".
These final results always make me a little bummed... I know how much work went into getting them, but it seems so small and insignificant in this table.
Then I take a long break from taking photos.
It's a big day in lab as Jenny, our 2nd year grad student, gives her first student seminar. I didn't want to make her more nervous by bringing the camera to the talk. She did a really fantastic job! After, we went out to lunch to celebrate and I left the camera in lab.
There was a birthday in lab on Thursday and I made the cake. Luckily for Jake, there was one piece left over today that I wrapped up to bring home for him.
Busy is an understatement.
When I get home, Jake wants me to take a picture of him cooking dinner. Silly guy won't stand still, so I don't get a nice shot in.
He said it was very tasty. I was still too full from lunch to eat anything.
After dinner, but before our evening walk, Jake and Olive play in the kitchen.
We went for a walk but I didn't take the camera because it was dark outside.
27 weeks on Saturday-- almost into the third trimester!
It was... all right.
Olive enjoys biting Jake's thumb. It's something we need to teach her not to do before the baby comes.
