Disclaimer: Prince of Tennis belongs to Konomi Takeshi, not to me (which is probably a good thing).

tenipuri500 challenge: #05 - “horror”
fffshuuu’s line: “I think he enjoyed more than just the Juice...”

Note: Unbetaed so all mistakes are my own. Inspired by the Inui-threatening-Momo-and-Kaidoh scene in the opening theme “Shining” (and “Paradise” but it’s essentially the same thing X3).

----

Inside one of the chemistry labs at Seigaku, Momoshiro and Kaidoh waited nervously for Inui to return. The third-year had approached the both of them at the beginning of lunch, asking for their ‘assistance’ but not saying for what. Of course, being a good kouhai, Kaidoh reluctantly agreed and Momo got dragged along. Inui had led them both to a vacant chemistry lab and excused himself while he went to retrieve something.

“This is all *your* fault.”

“How is it my fault?”

“It just is, Mamushi.”

“Don’t call me that, kono yarou.”

“What did you say!?”

“Tch…” Kaidoh ignored the other before their arguing got worse. He had a sinking feeling that Inui-senpai had predicted their hostile nature to rise when they were alone. That way he would have justification to punish them with Inui Juice or something equally horrific.

“My apologies for making the both of you wait.” The two second-years looked up as Inui walked back into the room, holding two thermos bottles and two glass cups that promptly made both of their stomachs drop to the floor.

“S-Say Inui-senpai,” Momo spoke up nervously, inching towards the door. “I have to go get lunch and everything because you know how crazy the lines get. So, yeah, please excuse me!”

“Wait, Momoshiro.” The sound of his senpai’s voice stopped the fleeing second-year in his tracks. He turned around to see Inui already pouring the contents of the thermos bottles separately into the tall cups: one of them red and the other green. Inui held up the two glasses and clinked them together.

“Bottoms up,” he said, grinning evilly. Seeing that both of his kouhais looked horrified and hesitant about drinking his newest creations, he only grinned wider.

“Of course, I do have more prepared should this be inadequate.” Two hands shot out and grabbed the glass cups, not wanting to drink more than they have to. Both of their faces scrunched up in disgust as Momo quickly drank the red one and Kaidoh drank the green equally fast.

’What?’ Kaidoh thought to himself as his face relaxed and he opened his eyes to see that he almost finished his cup. But he didn’t have the urge to throw up like Momoshiro seemed to have as the other ran out of the room upon finishing, hands covering his mouth. Setting the glass cup down, he looked up at his senpai, who had tilted his head in confusion.

“Inui-senpai, just what was that?” Kaidoh asked in his gruff voice.

“Peculiar,” Inui stated before stepping forward. “Allow me to verify something.” Before Kaidoh could react, Inui lifted his chin and kissed him soundly. The other’s tongue slipping briefly into his parted mouth before pulling away.

”Just as I thought,” Inui murmured turning around to grab the thermos bottle that had held the green juice. “I had mistaken this thermos for the other one.” Seconds later, he heard Kaidoh stand, knocking over the stool that he was sitting on and excusing himself before running out the door. Inui smiled and pushed up his rectangular glasses, catching the light ominously.

“I think he enjoyed more than just the Juice...”

----

“Eh? Kaidoh-senpai?” Horio said as the second-year passed him, running full speed down the hall.

“Inui-senpai must have made him drink Inui Juice too,” Kachirou said, noticing the other’s flaming red face.

“And it must have tasted just as bad as Momo-chan-senpai’s,” Katsuo added, seeing the other covering his mouth with his hand.

“Poor senpais,” all three said, feeling sympathetic before they continued towards their next class.
