I work a video store - and a couple of weeks ago a customer asked if Santa Sangre was a good film to show his children in order to introduce them to surrealism in film. I sent them home with some something else. (Jan Svankmajer's Little Otik)

I like Jodorowski, but I really don't think a 12 year old would find it nearly as interesting.
