Recently watched Bad Boy Bubby last week. It's a really off-beat movie that I think you guys would enjoy.
It's about an autistic man's experience of the world after freeing himself from his abusive mother and father. The dude has been locked up for thirty-some odd years with only his mother for company so things get pretty weird. The trailer tells

YES! I really liked this movie, especially how despite everything, it felt really uplifting and sweet. That messed with my head even more than some of the separate events of the movie did!

Yeah, this movie rocked but did they really need to use a real cat? Really? Even post-mortem cat was just a little too much for me.

LOL. We only did frogs, cow hearts, and earthworms...we didn't wrap up live cats in saran wrap then shake the fuck out of them.

Seconded! Fantastic film. Agree with the first commenter -- by the end, it *does* make you smile, which in turn makes you wonder just how much you're laughing *with* Bubby and how much you're laughing *at* him... :\

I liked this film a lot, I also really liked the "Confessor Caressor" short on the DVD.
