Ah, how I love birthday season. I've been spoiled rotten all month, and some of the best gifts came in the form of books I can now offer up here! I ♥ you, hippie_chick!

Last summer sometime, I was lazing about on a Sunday morning and happened to catch an HBO movie about which I'd heard nothing before. It was called "Longford", and it opened up a whole new ( Read more... )

My interest has been piqued. I must read this. After reading Carl Panzram's autobiography, I've been fascinated by serial killer written books.

Hmmm...ditto, and now I'm gonna have to look into that autobiography! Have you done an entry about it already...? *goes hunting*

I don't think that I have done an entry on Killer: A Journal of Murder yet. I read it several years ago. The public library actually had the book, but it's sad that they don't anymore. And I can't seem to get it from anywhere else. Amazon has it, I think, but it was $50 last time I checked since the book is now out of print. I became interested in the book when I seen the movie starring James Woods.

Maybe I should? XD

I've not heard of that book - I'll have to look it up. But you wouldn't recommend it...?

I think going to the mind-bendingly fucked source of anything is the way to go! (I'm still bitter that The Diary Of Jack The Ripper was a hoax.)

I was kind of disappointed about that too. I guess the allure of Jack is the mystery surrounding him though.

It did put me in the mood to read Robert Bloch's short stories again. I'm resisting the urge to pull out that anthology with "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper" in it. XD;;
