Last night, at 9.40 p.m., after 18 hours of joy, my sister gave birth to Liam Jon Wyle, who weighed eight pounds and five ounces.

I'm taking Annalise in to meet her new cousin in an hour or two. I'm expecting Tina to be very asleep.

I was hoping for either a Christmas or a 'last day of the year' birthday, but its just cool to have a nephew.
