For some reason I thought the Jazzfest was a month later. I trust it was as cool as it sounded???
Wish I could go with you for your next trip, but alas I'm too tapped to do any extensive traveling for awhile.

it is ok, we all have pretty tight finances right now, we just have the advantage of new orleans being easy driving distance from us (7hrs)
maybe next year?
jazzfest was loads of fun, it was really hot however! the part of the city that it was held in still had quite a bit of damage from the hurricanes...
i suppose actually seeing it made me realize how bad it was/is
