Gosh I'm tired today. Thursdays always knacker me out, although I imagine that when I get to work I'll be less tired when I've got used to doing things every day. A couple of things have happened this week that have been confusing, trying, and somewhat upsetting in that order, but I think I'm over that now. Since going shopping I've had a cream ( Read more... )

A new frying pan is always a good thing--especially if spatulas tend to melt to them. What kinds are you considering?

I'm thinking we don't need anything special, so it's just a case of replacing the old rather tired one, and it has to be 9 inches (or so he says, I'm going to measure it before I make decisions on the diameter) because that's what the current ones are and they're perfect for making pancakes (which I haven't done in ages but am suddenly craving, and since we have some eggs in the fridge I may well get them!).

I know the feeling about the C-word, I tend to try and avoid it, but I think this year that's going to be hard since I'm going to be doing all the shopping and I'm considering getting a job in a shop. Ne'mind what does not make us insane makes us stronger.

I made it!

It is VERY easy to lose entries - that's why I'm so glad lj will now "restore from saved draft" or whatever it is ...

Yeah, I'm so glad semagic has an autosave fuction because sometimes I'll start writing an entry, stop and go and do something else, realise that dinner is late and switch my computer off, only to relise as the computer powers down that I never did anything about the lj entry. However it'll still be mostly there when I get back. Of course I'm still not entirely sure how I got to delete this entry, because I did it through semagic, and on that you have to click two buttons to delete it. *shrug* I obviously wasn't paying attention!

Yay! It's rather strange that I could go through my lj-friends list and figure out who would reply because I asked, and who wouldn't because they just don't comment! I'm very grateful that even a few people feel that what I write is worth reading through to the very end, so thank you!

You say something like that again and I'll push this little button I had installed yesterday that says "SMITE".
