Very well done! Each sentence is an effective snapshot of Acylius and Aelia. I particularly liked how you offered a glimpse of potential closure for the characters with #s 26 & 50!

Thank you! I can think of half a dozen ways that things could be effectively closed (although admittedly, some of them are rather dark...), so chances are that I'll devote a fic to some of them. One day. ;) Personally, I generally toss up between 'Bakrakra stepping down and Acylius making peace his first order of business' and 'Bakrakra finally realising that stubbornness runs in the family and her son's never going to give up, so she throws up her hands, makes peace, and then hands things over to Acylius'.

...of course, there's always room for variations on any theme.
