Exactly. It doesn't take much to see just how ableist that question even is.

We are probably biased by the fact that we had just got home from a 2 hour therapy session when we saw this. Too exhausted to be offended for more than a few mins, just disappointed in lj & in humanity.

Why don't they just ask cancer patients to introduce all of their tumors? I am so disgusted with LJ doing this.

Someone should tell them the only "personality" here they need to know about is the one who pays for our lj every year (and usually pays for more than 1 a yr temporarily)!

I strongly doubt I'll re renewing my LJ, and I've been on here (under different user names) since the beginning. They have lost my money now.

Agreed with all the above. If they wanted to introduce a topic like this they should have phrased it like, "Introduce the sides of your personality." Having different interests and sides of a SINGLE personality, of a SINGLE person, is NOT the same as having a multiple personality. Extremely insensitive the way they phrased this. (Assuming they meant different interests within a single person, not actual multiple personalities.)
