Your outlook makes me think strongly of Terra. She is a strong magic user, of course due to being half esper; she always seemed to me to be someone who is realistic, yet still fighting for the good of all. She also seems to be very cautious, yet never failing at her quest, her duty. Also, there's a lot of heart in your answers, and your words seem to ring similarly to Terra's being. :)
I definitely have to agree with the Terra vote! Polite, realistic, intelligent, and quirky are definitely traits of hers. The fighting style you described also reminded me of her, as well as your values and the situational answers. Basically the whole thing just reminded me of Terra. =)
My first impression is actually Onion Knight, but I can definitely see some Terra as well. Your positive traits and the adjectives you used are the ones that made me lean towards more to Onion Knight. And I see Onion Knight as a noiser person than Terra since you said that you are actually not very quiet. Your This or That section gave me more of an Onion Knight vibe. The only area where I see Terra is your Situation section.
I'm torn, because I can definitely see where both the Terra and Onion Knight votes are coming from. I think I might be leaning slightly more towards Cecil overall though. He doesn't have the best confidence at times given what has happened in the past and decisions he's made, and he can be a bit indecisive at times too...but Cecil is also very polite, he can be perceptive at times (it depends on the situation though), he usually strikes me as being rather intelligent (as he's usually seen trying to figure out the "whys" of why certain other characters act the way they do), and I could see him being pretty cultured and literate too considering how he was raised by the King of Baron. He's calm, cautious, mature, brave, somewhat reserved (especially in comparison to many of the other characters in Dissidia he tends to interact with), can be doubtful, and is rather serious when the situation calls for it.
How you described your fighting style: "Strategic, yet fast. Magic user, able to be close up or far away. Slightly defensive. Very

I can definitely see a lot of Onion Knight, but I'm leaning towards Cecil myself. Particularly in comparison to other Dissidia characters, Cecil isn't among the most confident, and he's stated several times that his strength comes from his friends more than anything... yet, I can see how some may think he's "stand-offish" as that's often a comment quiet and more serious types can get by those who can't relate to their behavior. Similarly, while he's more introverted, he isn't really shy. He's polite, realistic, cultured, while he doesn't seem like the most intellectual character in FFIV, he is in Dissidia due to the crowd/culture change. All of your "this or that" questions fit him well, he can be rather passionate, especially when it involves his loved ones, and he's definitely not the type to taunt his opponents. Your fighting style is similar to his in Dissidia particular, and I can see him reaction similarly to all of your situational choices
