"Oh no."

Naminé didn't recognize where she was. She hadn't been in this area before, and a sudden sense of awareness came upon her. What if this was Cosmos territory? If they really were the "good" side, maybe they'd have the heart to not want to fight a small girl.

Maybe. Naminé wasn't going to count on it. She threaded carefully around the pillars, hugging each one as she approached it. Her eyes were staring up, in a bit of a wonderment, so there was one point when she wasn't paying close attention to everything else that was around her. It was that moment that she ended up backing into something, someone who wasn't a pillar.

"Eep!"

"Ah!" Hope was caught by surprise after being bumped into. As much as he liked to think he was alert, he was still a kid, so there were bound to be mistakes. That didn't change though as he whirled, hands ready and reaching for his boomerang-

Only to see the threat was just a young girl, probably close to his age. He hadn't seen her before, so he wondered exactly who's side she was on.

Still, that didn't stop him from being concerned for others. Even in the middle of war, he was always willing to help.

"Are you okay? You didn't fall, did you?"

Naminé was at a lost of words and didn't reply. She just held her hands up and jumped back and behind one of the pillars. Oh great, just what she needed, to run into a Cosmos warrior. She peek around behind the pillar to look at him again. "Y-yea," she finally answered, now that she felt she was at a safe distance. "I'm fine."

Hope gave a slightly confused look, unsure as of what to think about her. He hadn't even done anything and yet she was hiding. Was she with Chaos, and that was why? But she didn't look dangerous.

"Are you sure? Why are you hiding?" He's not trying to be nosy, he just wants to know who she is. He sees no point in fighting or hurting her, as long as she doesn't hurt him.

[Enter Kefka. Outside of his own tower, the World of Darkness was one of his favorite haunts. He was careful to stay out of sight for the most part, floating along behind Hope, and making sure he didn't see him. There was something about this one that seemed familiar, yet alien all at once. The sensation was similar to the feeling he had when near his Magitek creations, yet different. He had to do some research on the boy, as well as Fang when given the chance. For now, it was time to play his favorite game: Break the spirits of Cosmos' warriors!]

My my... you're an interesting one... Not many come about the gift of magic naturally... whether or not that is the case with you is yet to be seen... but it certainly feels natural. Must be why you were drawn here.

[The sound of an unfamiliar voice made him turn, hand at the ready with his boomerang and a glare on his face. If anything, he didn't want to be caught unguarded. He couldn't see where the voice was coming from, but he could definitely hear it. That in and of itself was making him uneasy.]

Who are you? Show yourself!

[The question is said with confidence, not an ounce of fear, and the boy is on immediate alert, should anything come his way. A part of him also knew Lightning was nearby, so he kept his eye open for wherever she was as well.]

[Kefka decided he would humor the boy, hanging in the air upside down behind Hope, though he would not move again should the boy look his direction.]

My my, such confidence... such resolve... Hehe... what is your name, boy~?

[And there was the voice again. This time, behind him- and he turned quickly, surprised to see the clown hanging there, a startled sound coming from the boy. He stepped back several steps, never taking his eyes off him, weapon raised and ferocity in his stare.]

Hope. Who are you?

[Don't mind her, taking a leak at a pillar. Sometimes you just need to do your business, and Amaterasu doesn't exactly care where she does hers.

Her attention is caught by Hope though, and it's a stroke of luck-- she's hungry and maybe he has food! She'll bother him after she's done.]

[What luck indeed! He's got a bit of food with him in his little pouch by his side, but for now he's still wandering-

Until he comes around a pillar and sees Amaterasu, and quickly about-faces, giving her some privacy. She might not care where she does her business, but the kid at least feels it's decent to give her some space and privacy. She can come bother him when she's done, to let him know it's okay.]

[And she runs, done with wearing down the pillar a little more. And she's so excited to see a kid, and more importantly, food, that she nearly crashes headlong into him.

It's obvious what she wants.]

Whoa-! [Hope, meet flying ball of fur that is Amaterasu. The fact that she nearly comes barreling towards him and his pouch gives him an indication that she's hungry, and stepping back, he smiles a little.]

You're hungry, aren't you?

[At that, he reaches into his pouch and pulls out what he has, some fruit and different kind of meats from Gran Pulse. Fang knew what was decent, so nothing was dangerous or poisonous, as far as he knew. He laid them out in his hands and spoke gently.]
