Who: Rebecca, Chris When: After this. Where: Order's Sanctuary What: Chris seems to be having memory problems, Rebecca is worried. Type: Log Notes/Warnings: Probable game spoilers for 0 and 1?
Chris brightened up a considerable amount when he heard Rebecca approaching and waved her over. He still had a splitting headache and everything seemed covered in a fog in his memories. Things had started to resurface, but were no more distinct than shadowy figures in his mind's eye. Rebecca and a tall blond man were the only two that had any kind of distinctive features he could remember.
"Hey! Sorry 'bout worrying you, Rebecca. I know I can't remember things I should... but other than that, I'm fine, really."
His statements came mainly as if automatic. As if he'd offered a variation of the words many times before. It felt natural... and comforting.
The first thing she noticed is that good god, he did look different. Very different, and certainly eleven years worth, assuming he was from the same time as Jill. She felt even tinier next to him than normal. There was a brief debate on whether or not it would be okay to hug him, ending in 'not' because of Jill's mention that it had been years since they'd seen her last. So it might be weird on his end, even if she'd seen a much younger version of him less than ten minutes before arriving in this place. So instead, she went with a question.
It was odd to see her quite like this. It felt like it should've been ages ago since he saw her last, despite never before seeing her that he could remember. Still, there was a warm familiarity about her, coupled with an aura of caring. It was a feeling he desperately needed and wanted.
"I've been here for... oh, maybe a day? Just trying to figure things out really. How 'bout you?"
