[It's quiet at first, Hope opening his eyes slowly and shifting, still thinking he's on Gran Pulse with the gang. It's not until he hears the voice give him his task do his eyes shoot open, and he sits upright, looking around at where he is.

...Light? Vanille? Snow? Fang? Sazh? Hey! Where are you guys?
[And yep, that would be a confused 14 year old running around, looking for everyone in his gang, boomerang in hand, and l'Cie brand still ever present on his skin.]
Darkness swirled all around him as the mysterious voice boomed within his mind. Questioning his own sanity, Albert realized that this voice didn’t belong to the Meta-God he dared to summon. No, this was the voice of an entity far greater than the fiend that exists amongst the heavens. While the cardinal isn’t an avid believer of the ‘God’ described within the Holy Book, he certainly believed that this God who summoned him did so for a reason far greater than told. The darkness that welcomed burned a new desire within his black heart, one that spoke of the demise of the Goddess of Harmony. The insanity that overwhelmed him during his years in imprisonment was freed at last, allowed to warp the ideals and beliefs that Albert once held dear. Finding his way past the shadows of his mind, the warlock finally awoke

The response from at least one member is short- clipped. Not amused whatsoever. He was just on the brink of ending his torment, and now here he stood in a place he didn't recognize, faced with a task he had no interest in. Shuyin wished to remain in the Farplane and destroy Spira- yet here was another force whisking him away, insisting that he fulfill something for a war.
Eyes flicker with anger, but then settle as he begins to take notice of his surroundings. Somehow he knew he'd need to find a way out of this.
Glancing over towards the forlorn youth, Albert smiled faintly. He could tell easily that the boy was agitated, and for good reason too. None of them expected to arrive here in the middle of nowhere at the beckoning call of a supposed god. Although, it would seem that anger would do nothing to free them from the troubles that awaits them. This is why the warlock hadn’t allowed his rage to overwhelm him.
"Frustration will do nothing to unbid your shackles, but patience may." Albert stated plainly once he caught a glimpse of the fierce gaze within the boy's eyes. "Be at ease, I doubt our 'god' will be eager to send us into battle too soon."
