Though Cecil didn't know why, the Lunar Subterrane had a sense of familiarity about it that was comforting, that put him at ease. It was a far cry from the hellish region that served as Chaos' base. Though he had stumbled across it by accident, already he liked to spend time here, and was likely to frequent the place in future so long as it wasn't dangerous. He couldn't explain why the place made him feel in such a way... but perhaps exploring the area more would help him regain his lost memories.

Ahead, though, he spotted a manikin. Instantly he drew his sword with the intention to fight -- until his eyes fell on its human opponent, Saleh. He was no man Cecil recognised, and so the dark knight would hang back to watch. He would gauge whether the man was friend or foe before stepping in.

The mannequin rushed forward, attacking with a straight thrust as it neared the sage, but Saleh sidestepped it, slipping behind it. He spun around quickly, extending his hand to cast his spell. The yellow beam of light shot up from where he stood and then dropped down above the mannequin, which simply rolled to the side to avoid it.

This isn't good, Saleh thought.

He adjusted his own position, watching carefully for the mannequin's next move. He'd have to time his spell better.
