Wanderlust had overcome her and she'd taken to exploring her new surroundings in hopes of figuring something out should she need to draw her guns. A new world certainly had much to offer and this one was no exception. The sounds of the fight drew her and she'd spent a bit of a time watching the vampire and his little fight.
"I don't think they listen to commands so easily, no matter how dominating you want to get." she sighed, approaching him as soon as the mannequin has dissapated. "Maybe you're just not their type."
Preoccupied by his attempts to gain control over the mannequin, Dracula had not noticed the woman until she was close. Still, he turned slowly as if he had known she was there, not allowing his surprise to show.
He took a careful look at the woman. She had a strange appearance, but she moved with the confidence of an experienced fighter."
"My power gives me control over beasts and demons. In time, I believe I will gain control over these creatures, as well."
She raised an eyebrow slightly as she glanced over the field and back to him. There is a slight cock of her head as she rests her gun on her shoulder, her free hand on her hip.
"I have to admit to never having seen creatures of this sort before. At the very least, you can't quite call them human." she mused, a slight frown coming to her brow. "Though they seem human, they certainly break faster than most do."
Dracula disagreed. "They are nothing like humans. They have no blood. No soul. Hardly any presence at all. It is remarkable that they can move and attack the way they do."
Jay arrived in the World of Darkness, spotting Dracula from a distance, trying to control the mannequin.
As if he'd be able to control those things, he thought. He almost said it aloud, but restrained himself. It'd be better to observe for now, to see what the dark lord is capable of.
Another mannequin appeared, this time a Delusory Archer, but this one did not attack. Instead it walked passed, seemingly completely unaware of the vampire. Dracula had noticed before that in some areas mannequins attacked him, in other areas they ignored him, and in others still there was a mixture of the two. Perhaps if he could not yet command the violent ones, he could control the others.
Once again, he reached out with his dark power, and spoke to the mannequin. "Come. Stand before me."
The mannequin stopped for a moment and looked at him, then continued on its way. It was hardly a success, but it was a level of acknowledgement he'd yet to receive from that type of mannequin.
It wasn't long before Dracula found yet another mannequin, this time a Wandering Sage. Before he could attempt to control it, it extended its hand. A yellow light shot upward from it, then downward at Dracula. He stepped back, giving a loud grunt of pain.
As soon as he recovered he vanished in a pillar of light. He reappeared behind the mannequin and lifted open his cape. A sphere of lava shot from the lining of his cape and struck the mannequin, quickly destroying it.
Afterward, Dracula's breathing was noticeably harder. "Holy power," he said to himself. "But as long as there is no Belmont among them, it can be nothing more than in inconvenience."
Sigma had been watching this one for a long time. Ever since the argument that had taken place over the crystals. He wasn't sure what to make of him, it was obvious that he wasn't human - lacking any kind of traceable vitals that would be associated with fleshlings - and was most definitely not Reploid, though he appeared to have power on par with his own generals. ...Generals he could not remember, thanks to the corruption of his memory banks.
Still, he felt this would be as good an opportunity to gauge this unknown variable personally.
"I doubt they can hear you. My scans indicate that they lack any kind of auditory reception organs. In fact, everything about them seems to defy all known precedents for living organisms. ...Much like yourself."
Dracula hadn't expected to encounter Sigma here, but perhaps it was an opportunity to learn more about him. Dracula looked Sigma up and down, trying to size him up.
"Interesting. I had thought they were more akin to you. They are not living things, but they are not undead. They are not demons, golems, nor any manner of being I have seen. They are entirely lacking in essence. In soul. Yet, like you, they can move and fight."
But, unlike Sigma, they did not appear to be the creation of humans. Neither science nor sorcery had ever created something like this in his world.
Sigma scoffed. "Do not assume that just because I lack flesh and blood that I am a 'lesser' being. I experience all human emotions, with none of their weaknesses."
He took a step forward, crushing a large chunk of crystal under his foot. "Reploids have souls. We are silicon based lifeforms, instead of carbon based. We have DNA, spirits, and our essence may not be human, for we are more than human."
Dracula was doubtful, but something in what Sigma said intrigued him.
"Do not think me as narrow-minded as a human. I know that beings of stone and metal can have souls. But you... my power does not seem to touch you. If you do have a soul, it takes a form I have never encountered."
For a moment, he glanced to where the mannequin had been. If that was true, then there really was a way to gain control of them.

Is it working? Jay continued to watch silently, looking for some kind of pattern in the mannequins' behavior.
