The Onion Knight followed Terra in silence, looking around carefully. As she moved further from the Sanctuary, he moved closer to her. Vanitas' words had left him on edge.

Terra didn't linger too long in the Crystal World. She crossed over to Dream's End in a relatively short amount of time, and paused upon reaching the next portal crystal. This one would take her to Tiffauges Castle; neutral territory.

Well, there was no time like the present to get started. She couldn't remain in Cosmos territory forever, not if she wanted to fight mannequins. And so, Terra stepped into the crystal's light....

Once they were in neutral territory the Onion Knight made his presence known.

"Hey! Are you okay?"

So intent was Terra on her objective, that she failed to realize her follower until he spoke. She jumped a little, turning, then smiled sheepishly.

"I'm fine! I just wanted to train against some of the mannequins. If you want to join me, you're welcome."

Kain arrived there as they'd discussed, and waited until he saw the familiar green-haired woman. He nodded in greeting and approached her. He was as alert as always to danger, but otherwise didn't look outwardly much different than usual. He was keeping any new issues dragged up by the latest battle and its outcome to himself.

Upon spotting him, Terra leaped a couple of times to catch up with him. The Crystal World was lacking much in the way of level ground, after all. She wasn't quite as on edge in this realm--since it was in Cosmos' territory, she knew any mannequins wouldn't attack her.

"Hello, Kain. I'm glad you made it here." And she was; despite the complications that came with knowing the dragoon, Terra was still glad for his company. He had helped her before, and that was not something she would forget, even as she wasn't blind to his potential to fall into darkness.

Kain didn't mind the possibility of a challenge, part of why he'd chosen Cosmos territory. It made him more alert and focused than he'd be in any Chaos areas, although he'd never exactly felt comfortable anywhere ever since being brought to this war.

"...It was no trouble," Kain replied, still feeling that he owed her but unsure as to how to repay it. Perhaps in battle someday when he had his own skills intact and she needed the assistance.

"I...still want to try and see if I can fight in the castle again, but we can start here." Terra walked to the edge of the platform, then paused and turned to look at him, curious. "Where there any changes in Chaos' base, now that the battle was decided?" She couldn't help but wonder about that strange, empty building and if it was a reward only given to the victors, or if it signalled something else.

Kefka had been wandering aimlessly through various places, blasting the manikins left and right for entertainment. However, as luck would have it, he just happened to be drifting through the Crystal World when he spotted his favored target.

He would watch for now, though with his newly enhanced power, he would find it hard to hide his aura from Terra, not that he tried really.

No, it didn't take much time at all before Terra sensed a strong presence. Of course, it could belong to many a powerful person wandering the realms, but Terra is nothing if not paranoid. She turned and peered around, then jumped to a higher pillar to get a better view.

...there. That brightly-colored figure was in sharp contrast against the Crystal World's background. Terra frowned, ready to teleport if he got much closer. She so did not want to deal with him again, unless it was on a real battlefield.

Kefka just grinned, waving from where he floated. He didn't make much of a move, just waving a hand causing a Trine spell to rip through a nearby crystal pillar. The shards of the crystal were then blasted skyward from an Ultima spell, with a slow rain of beautiful - if razor sharp - shards falling into the abyss below.

Consider it a greeting.

"Get away from me!" Terra was not putting up with the madman, not today and not ever. If there was anyone on Chaos' side that she would automatically attack on sight, it would be Kefka. She made her own point with her Holy spell, missiles of light created to home in on him.

Saleh was very much sharing Terra's sentiments at this point. He was relieved at Cosmos's recent victory, and confident that they would win this next battle. As such, he wanted to be as prepared as possible, and trying to strengthen himself in the event that he should find himself alone.

He spotted Terra up ahead and casually made his way over to her. Another way to strengthen oneself is with the moral support of allies after all.

"Terra. How fare you?"

Terra paused and turned, nodding to Saleh. She abandoned her idea for the moment and headed over to him. "I'm alright. I just...thought that now would be a good time to wander and train. If I was to stay in the sanctuary, I would keep wondering about that new building and its purpose."

She couldn't deny having returned to inspect it more than once already, but no new information was yielded. "You?"

"Yes, I would hope that all of us are doing the same. We must be as prepared as possible if we are to emerge victorious."

He looked around, inspecting the area a bit. "I hope that building will be something useful. Perhaps a safer training ground..."

He was still a bit sore about being captured during their training session.

"I was thinking it might be a place of healing...but that was my second thought, a training ground. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be what Cosmos deems we need most."

Terra stared off, pensive. "I believe that we can go home, but...do you think that will be true of the other side?"
