Saleh opened his eyes slowly, his torso still incredibly sore from Kefka's Trine spell. It took him a moment to realize his position. Captured, in a cell, strapped to a table. Once he became aware of his surroundings, he looked around for his companion, but she was nowhere to be found.
Upon hearing Dooku's voice, Saleh glanced over at him, hesitating as he pondered a suitable response.
"Sore…but otherwise well."

Saleh found it rather odd to be treated with such consideration from his captor, thus he refrained from commenting on it. He had questions about the reasons for this capture, and what sort of cooperation would be needed. There was no reason to ask, though, as the Count would be getting to that soon enough regardless. In the meantime, there was another pressing matter that needed to be addressed.
"...Where's Terra?"

He wasn't too keen on shacking up at the old witch's castle, regardless of her timely absenteeism. Although ... Better her place than his if he could judge how messy things might potentially get. Hostage situations called for meticulous care and even that leverage was tentative in the face of headstrong heroes who would take matters into their own hands. Generally speaking though, it was probably best if they made no assumptions about the seriousness or the ruthlessness of the captors in question. Their prisoners were unharmed, yes, and perhaps they would remain that way, but who knew what a retaliation from the Cosmos warriors could bring? Why, they could be dead the moment they charged in, banners blazing. It wasn't Kuja's style, per se, but who knew what the others might do ( ... )

Immediately she looked to the crystal in his hands, trying to ascertain to whom it belonged. Hers? Cecil's? The way the man turned it over in his hands, she questioned that it would be his own. Yet he implied something. Did they also hold Cecil? It did not enter her thoughts that her husband would not come for her. Of course he cared what became of her, even if he could not remember their life at home.
However, she would not give him the satisfaction of fear reflected in her eyes, nor her struggling against her bonds.

Closing the distance a bit, she would perhaps be able to identify the crystal as her own by color and facts of circumstance. If she was still unsure, he made quite a show of getting comfortable with it, gracefully taking a seat in a manner that seemed impossible. His feet lifted from the floor, and when he leaned back slightly to cross one leg over the other, the gesture kicked him up a full meter ( ... )

Upon hearing that very familiar voice, Terra froze. She had hoped he wouldn't have a hand in this, but of course that was true. The tube was just the sort of thing he would think up. She backed away, flattening herself against the opposite wall of the tube. If only there was a means to break free...but she saw none, for the time being. Kefka had chosen her prison well.
"Kefka! What do you want with me?!"

She'd arrived, she'd spoken to some she already knew on the crystal network, and then- well, the next thing she knew, she was being kidnapped. Some things, it seemed, never changed - and that irritated Kairi somewhat. Here she was again, stuck as the damsel in distress, grabbed by the nearest bad guy and thrown in a dungeon. Again.
Only this time, Kairi doubted she'd be getting out so easily. There would be no portalling her out, and this time, she was tied up, her hands clasped together, so she couldn't even summon her Keyblade to fight her way out. All that was there was were her fellow captives, and those in charge of the whole thing. And darkness. That was the only thing she was strong against; the one thing she could attempt to conquer.
She was determined. She'd get out of this, somehow.

"I would be better if I wasn't here," she said slowly, before adding, "...but I'm guessing that's not going to happen. In which case, I'm fine." Well, if fine equated to being thrown in a cell with her arms tied and then left there for a while. It could be worse, all things considered.
