Round 2 - 1 ;; Aftermath

[The battle fades around you, and once again, you feel almost as though you are in a dream. The feeling only lasts a moment, before you awaken in your room, off of the stronghold of your god. A voice echoes in your ear, and though the speaker is not visible, you can feel them around you.]

[Unlike the previous times Cosmos has spoken, her voice is

[Saleh takes the opportunity to approach the goddess at the Order's Sanctuary. Like the others, he would have the same questions. But before diving right into them, he crouches down on one knee and bows his head.]

Lady Cosmos...

[lufenia]

Saleh. Please, rise.

[She gestures for him to step forward.]

What is it you wish to ask?

[mountain_sage]

[He stands and takes a single step forward.]

Cosmos...what is the purpose of this war? What do we fight for? And why can't we remember anything?

[lufenia]

[She looks at him directly. Her voice is sorrowful, but firm.]

You fight for it to be ended. This war between Chaos and I must be stopped.

It is the nature of this world, that you eventually come to forget.

[mountain_sage]

I see...

[A slight pause.]

I heard someone speak of an endless cycle to this war. If these wars are to be repeated, how can it be stopped?

[lufenia]

A way can be found to end it. This I know. However... ,small>[She shakes her head.] More than that, I cannot say.

[mountain_sage]

So until then...

[Until then, they'd just have to place their faith in the goddess.]

Is it possible to regain our memories? Will we keep losing them in this world?

[lufenia]

As the battles continue, it is possible that your memories will begin to return to you.

[mountain_sage]

Then I would allow those words to guide me. I pray that our memories will return, for they are important for us all. Our memories shape us into who we are today, and without that understanding, we would all be lost.

[lufenia]

May they return to you soon. However... you have all proved your strength even in the absence of memory.

[Her tone is bittersweet. Proud of her warriors for finding such strength, yet sad that they are put through such things.]
