Everyone... I know we're all worried for Cosmos, but this... is important.

I'd like to apologise for my conduct before the last battle. I should never have questioned Cosmos, and it was not my intention to worry anyone.

[Of course, he's talking about his state when Rosa's disappeared. But he won't say any more on that, so as not to cause Rosa ( Read more... )

That's right. We can't give up, not now!

Right. In times of uncertainty our resolve must be at its strongest.

[It's been a while since they've spoken, but Cecil recognises her. And immediately he sympathises with her -- it wasn't so long ago Tidus disappeared, like Rosa. And from what Tidus had confided, he and Yuna had been close.]

Yuna, wasn't it? How are you doing...?

[ She's doing better, though the loss still hurts. She doesn't begrudge anyone who's loved ones have come back, though. ] Mm-hmm! I'm.. better. Once we win this, though, I'll get to go home.

[ So him not being here doesn't matter. ]

I admire your strength.

[Strength to keep going, even without the one she loves. He wonders if he could have done the same, if Rosa never came back.]

If there's anything we can do for you in the meantime, let us know. You still have many allies here.

Congratulations. [It reminds him of the birth of his daughter]

Being a father... it's an indescribable experience. Even better than being a hero.

You're a father, Kurtis? I didn't know.

I was. [But he doesn't want to dampen Cecil's good news.]

Did Rosa tell you about your son? How old is he?

...Forgive my assumption. I'm sorry. [Nor will he say any more on the matter, if Kurtis doesn't want to elaborate.]

Yes, she did. She said he was five weeks old, when she first arrived a month ago.

[As for whether time has passed since then, he has no idea. Rosa's rearrival more than proves time works strangely here compared to at home.]

You have a son?

I was surprised as well. When Rosa first arrived here, she said we'd only been married a matter of weeks. When she returned again, it seems far more time passed for her than here.

[And as much as he would never wish for mother and son to be seperated, he's still so incredibly happy to have learned he has a child at all.]

That is strange. I hope one day you will be able to see your son.

I know that I will.

[There's not a shred of doubt in his voice. Nothing will stand between Cecil and his family.]

[Terra smiles softly.]

Rosa told me about him. That's wonderful news, Cecil.

She said when she arrived that he was five weeks old. And that he looks like me.

[Apparently this is important to note.]

[Cecil's pride is so cute.]

I wish I could see him, but at least you will in time.

[Cute? It's a totally manly father-son thing!

...Well, okay, yes, it's cute. He's practically beaming at the crystal with pride.]

I wish you could all see him as well, but at least he is safe at home.

[And then she just grins and brings both hands up to her face and makes unintelligible high-pitched noises of happiness. This is the best news ever.]
