[And this is why you should filter your messages more often, fellow Chaos fighters. |D Jill may not have spoken with all of you, but overhearing conversations is too easy here, and she's been biding her time spyin on u trying to get an idea of whom to trust, whom to risk trusting, and whom to avoid entirely.]

[He grins, a bit awkwardly.] ...oh, and the name's Locke, for the record!

She smiles, nodding at the name.] Jill Valentine.
[And now a more srs fais] Apparently, Cosmos mentioned sending her fighters home if they win the next round. My partner on the other side thinks he can convince some of his teammates to help force a stalemate between the two forces--to hold off either side's victory until we can make demands from the gods and hopefully ensure everyone's safety in the end.
Simply put, it's... something of a rebellion.

I think it's a great idea, but I dunno if it'll really work. We'd have to cause a big enough stir...and even then, the others'll probably just fight around us. Like it or not, people like you and me are kinda the odd ones out. [Locke frowns at that.]
But regardless of all that, I'm in!

I considered this. I think if we make protecting the crystals themselves our priority--not letting them be taken--it would be more efficient than attempting to meet in the middle and hold everyone back. At least, that's assuming we have enough numbers to create that kind of resistance, and in two places at once.
[Another smile, less polite and more genial.] Good to hear.

Hah!
So, we just flat-out refuse to play their game until they heed the voices of their people! Elegant. I wish I'd thought of it.
Of course, they probably have ways to simply force us to be their toys if we stand up for ourselves. But at least doing this will make them show their hand... reveal them for the tyrants they really are. I'm with you on this. I'll look forward to it.

Glad to hear it. I'll keep you posted.

It requires working with Cosmos' forces in the long run, too--you'd be up for that?

[A pause--and then, for trust's sake--] ...I arrived at the same time as my partner--he was chosen for Cosmos while I ended up here--; we've been through a lot together... and I'd give anything to watch out for him. I know he feels the same; this is why he proposed this plan in the first place.

If you believe that much, know that I don't have anything against Cosmos' side. I don't have anything to gain by exposing the rebels over here, either.

You do have something to gain. You told me yourself that Chaos gives rewards to people who take care of traitors.

[...Ah, well, she can't deny that, can she...] ...I did. For what it's worth, I don't even know what his "rewards" consisted of, if he even gave any out; and believe me, I'm not the strongest on this team by far. Even if I gained something for outing others, I'd pay for it pretty quickly. No material reward is worth dying for, even here.

...Who's the guy speaking out about all this?

His name's Dooku. He orchestrated the Cosmos kidnappings a while back.
