As well as can be, given the circumstances. [He's still somewhat shellshocked from the last battle. That, combined with what he's learned or remembered of Golbez's acts at home, has made excitement at his brother's arrival highly subdued.] Regardless of who you must fight for, it is good to see you again.

It is good to see you too. Though Chaos has summoned me, my loyalty does not belong to him, as you well know. [He isn't afraid to say that publically; everyone knows it anyway. Still, Cecil has him worried. He's not as... exuberant as usual.]

No; I will do what I can to end this war. I am not loyal to Chaos. [He recognizes Firion as one of Cecil's friends, and is a bit confused as to why Firion would assume he'd follow Chaos. Granted, he was summoned by the god of disorder, but he hadn't aided him any before...]
