[The voice quickly catches his attention. Unfortunate as it may be that he doesn't recognize it, he's just appreciative for a response.]

Seems that way. [A beat.] Would you be able to tell me where this is, exactly?

... Though I think the situation's more a matter of "what" than "where".

I see. ...I heard a voice before I awoke here. It called itself the goddess of harmony. Does that have anything to do with it?

It is less a place than a collection of separate places, bound together by strange forces. Wherever you are now is only a small part of the whole. It all appears to exist for the specific purpose of this conflict.

I see. [An infinitely more helpful response than he'd been receiving.] A ... dimension made up of many lesser worlds. Is that correct? ...Anything else?

Do you know what this is all about, then? Aside from the war, that is. To my knowledge, I was summoned by a goddess and told to find a crystal within a dream. [He frowns, pensive.] I'm afraid I don't understand it, or why I summoned to begin with. [And judging from the tone of his voice and his cross expression, he doesn't want to be here either. There are more pressing matters in his own world right now.]
