Hello again livejournal planet. It's 2008 in case you haven't noticed and the y2k bug still hasn't hit though I still haven't lost hope. I really need the end of the world to start already so that I can stop worrying about my future. I'll give it a couple more years and then I'm changing horses to the 2012 mayan new cycle thing. It will be weird

I still work at a hospital until next week (or if the apocalypse comes sooner than later) and one of my patients thinks she can meditate and make her heart rate slow down and brags about how she is very religious and "in touch with her body" or whatever, so much so that she doesn't need medicine but thing is, she refuses everything except large quantities of morphine. Clearly hardcore drugs are the way to salvation. I mean, that's the only conceivable way I could delude myself into believing that shit.

Also, on the subject of coworkers, they are pretty much lame. Except this one girl who is on to the fact that I'm too alternative for this hospital. Last night she asked if I was into Panic! At the Disco.

And how about Heath Ledger?

Heat Ledger! Shit. He was saved through drugs, I guess. He ascended to a higher plane of existence. Through anti-histamines or whatever it was he used to expand his mind.

You should become an Angel of Mercy before you leave the hospital.
