Occam's Razor

“Hey btw you probably aren't the right person to be talking about this with but I don't care anymore lol. So recently my life's been getting complicated."

The text from my brother immediately intrigued me. Despite how well we got along, we hardly ever held meaningful conversations. Nick and I hadn’t lived under the same roof for the past three ( Read more... )

I love you <3

You are amazing! It's odd because I want to comment on the writing but it's not just a story, it's yours. And you told it beautifully. I agree with the people in your class, it's beautifully honest.

Thank you for posting it even though I wasn't one of the ones that asked you to! I didn't realize how much I miss you until I read this. Maybe we could hang out soon? <3

Thanks AL, I'm glad you liked it.

Sadly we probably can't hang out before I leave because I have so much work to do with finals, but I'll be 45 mins away with nothing to do next semester so let's please make some hang out time happen then. I plan on being on campus quite often.

That was a really lovely read. I'm so happy for you that Amber and you are doing so well together. <3

And ditto with AL, I miss hanging out. We should all have a get together. Sucks that you're leaving so soon.

I will be back plenty next semester so we will definitely get together to catch up. I want to hear all about Italy!

Thank you so so much for posting this! I'm going to repeat what your classmates said--it is beautifully honest. I love how you've woven together the different snapshots in time. I wasn't sure at first if the changing setting would work, but it does. I especially love the opening/closing with the cliché. Funny how life is like that sometimes. :)

I wish we had met sooner at Furman. I think we could have been good friends. At least I can enjoy your tweets. ♥

Thank you so much for your feedback. Knowing that you took the class a few years ago, your perspective on the piece is much appreciated.

It's a shame we didn't get to know each other that well at Furman. We feminists need to stick together.

You are most welcome. :) I enjoy providing concrit. I know how important it is to writers.

Yes, we feminists do need to stick together! Because we are awesome and too small in number.

I'm glad it has your stamp of approval. You know I always value your opinion on my writing. And we've known each other for five years now; that's absolutely insane.

Aw, I really enjoyed this. It's very well-written. Remember when you said anyone who was ~out was your hero, in a way? Good on you, I'm proud of you for coming out. =)

Yay, I'm glad you liked it. You knew a little bit of the background before but I think it has a different effect when it's all compiled together. Thanks for reading.
