The tip off had checked out, it seemed. A major arms dealing going down at the docks. He'd come alone for the sake of scouting information but that was fine. As long as he got names and locations, he could easily take this back to the CHoTN and they could plan further.
Keeping along the walls and ceiling, Shishi stayed perfectly out of sight. He was good at masking his presence when he really needed to, and with his abilities he was able to keep all sides alert. He would pick up the qi of a guard here or there but as he got further in, the less people were around. Perhaps he'd missed the dealing. That wouldn't do, he still needed to--
...What?
Shishi nearly lost his ground on the beam he was sneaking along. That presence just now-- It felt.
Too much time had passed since his idle thought for him to appreciate the irony when he finally sensed something... odd. Odd was a good way to describe it. His brows drew down as he continued to stare at the mouse cleaning its paws a few yards away. He couldn't quite grasp what it was that made it odd, but if nothing else, he knew that it wasn't anyone who should be coming this way. Or was it time for the pickup already? No, can't be.
He briefly debated going to find whoever it was himself, but he chose to stay where he was, just watching that mouse for now. It seemed they were coming to him, regardless.
Odd presence aside, Shishi continued forward. He had a job to do, and whoever it was waiting for him would just have to be a minor obstacle.
Once he was close enough he was able to spot the figure sitting down on the crates. Not a good view from this distance but enough to see an opening for an attack. He was the only one in the warehouse now that he could feel and he was all that was standing in the way of him getting into the undoubtful suitcase of names and information.
Silently, Shishi dropped from the ceiling, psionic dagger in hand with the intent to stun them when he landed.
Greed was confused for a brief moment when, despite the odd someone getting closer, he couldn't see anyone. He realized why just as they got close enough for him to discern that they were above him. So that was how it was.
Even as they came to stop right above him he didn't move. The moment they dropped, he spun out of the way and pushed off of the crate with his hands to land on his feet a few feet away from it.
Then he turned to get a look at his attacker, and froze.
