I just adored this final chapter. It finalised everything so well, although the details from the trial were difficult reading. Although it was only fiction, you just know that sort of shit goes on in real life :(

I'm so glad that Jensen wasn't too badly damaged by the whole experience. It's so good that he has his adorable adopted family around him. And Jim's words to Jared at the end really made me tear up.

This was a beautiful conclusion, and I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to comment - I actually read it on the day you posted it, and only just realised that I never commented!

I guess you'll probably hate me if I ask if you're writing any more for the innocents verse, but it's worth the risk ... so, are you???? ;)

edit: I just realised I forgot to comment on the snake - what amazing bravery Jensen showed to protect Jared, and It's so wonderful that everyone realised it.

It is horrible to think about this kind of abuse really happening, but every once in a while there are news stories that come way too close to my fiction.

I really appreciate the comment, late or not. As far as whether there will be another installment...well...I think there might. I’ve already thought of the name - Recovery of Innocents. :). It will take place after Nightmares. My wonderful readers have left me some great ideas in their comments.
