Yes, very hard indeed. And it's Dean's turn next. Poor Jared.

Thanks for your support! <3

Wow! That ending where Traci 'dies' and Dean protects Jared is just so poignant and perfect. Jensen needs to come back, but losing Dean... :(
Didn't guess Traci as the 24/7 doll (was rather leaning toward 'Jared' being Sam - meh, what do I know ;p)
Loving this!!!

Ah, therein lies the dilemma. Should Jensen get his life back at the cost of losing Dean forever? That's the crux of the story.

That would have been very interesting, for Jared to be the 24/7 doll. You kind of blew my mind with that one because now I'm trying to figure out how that would have worked. LOL

Thanks, hun! *hugs*

Heehee! I figured I was way off, but, in my mind, I was thinking that Jared had been together with Jensen in a relationship, was heartbroken when Jensen was taken and he couldn't find him, tracked him to the city, but because he lacked skills? or something, paid someone off to make him a doll!detective where he could unconsciously look for Jensen 24/7, and then they'd each 'die' but ultimately find each other... and, yeah, I think too much ;p

Wow! Great update!

This entire paragraph was so visually stimulating....as if we were right there....... " The intelligence and awareness in her eyes dulls and brightens, dulls and brightens, like a trick candle that refuses to go out no matter how hard the birthday boy blows, each time reigniting, stronger than before. The battle for Traci's life wages on silently within her, the personality she's had for so many years fighting for survival. Although not a drop of blood is shed and not a single blow is struck, it's the most gruesome thing Jared has ever seen. " BEAUTIFUL DESCRIPTION, DM.

You pointed out one of my favorite paragraphs. I'm thrilled you like it. Beacuse each personality wipe is like a kind of death, it needed to be visceral. And give the reader a sense of dread at what's going to happen to Dean next. Thank you so much! *hugs*

A lot of us are very capable writers. But......a paragraph like that one is soooooo much more.... it's crafting the words to paint an actual visual image..... like weaving a tapestry......wordsmithing !!

It will be interesting to see where you will take us next...I almost see Dean with all his hunting skills wanting to keep his new stronger persona to team up with Jared, Christian and Aldis to free more dolls from other cities ....to make a strong group effort and give new meaning to the old phrase " bringing down the house !"

Oh gosh, that was rough! Reading about Traci made me wonder and worry, what will happen when Jensen is restored.

That Traci was the full-time Active surprised me! Nice!

Traci's ordeal was hard, but I wanted it to make people wonder about what it's going to be like to loose Dean. I'm so glad you got it. Yay!!! Thank you! <3 <3 <3

Boy, you make it hard to know which one to root for. Dean or Jensen.

Dean who will give his life for strangers and protect those he loves in a heartbeat.

Or Jensen. The helpless, tender doll who had so much taken from him and needs Jared to anchor and save him-- more than anything.

All written with feeling, excellent pacing and without a word wasted. Really well done.

Your comment has made me very, very happy!!! :D That difficulty of choosing who to wish would get to stay is the very essence of the story. Dean or Jensen. They are both deserving in their own ways. I'm so very glad you feel the dilemma the way it was meant to come accross. Thank you! *hugs*
